Somebody Told Me
An Audio Theatre Experience
Put on your headphones, sit back and make yourself comfortable! Are you ready? Come and follow the adventure of 5 travellers embarking on a dreamy, fun and quirky journey aboard a hot-air balloon.
Somebody Told Me was born out of an international collaboration between five actors who have selected poems and plays to be read via Zoom. It offers an audio voyage through theatrical readings of French and South-African literary masterpieces. It will feature renowned authors such as Antoine de Saint-Exupery, Victor Hugo and Arthur Rimbaud on the French side, Neil Coppen, Penny Youngleson and Malika Lueen Ndlovu on the South African side, but also original creations from the actors themselves.
The audio experience is mainly in English but include a few extracts in French.
Ameera Patel (SA), William Harding (SA), Hadar Dimand (ISR), Alexandre Ruby (FR), Stéphane Deleau (FR).
